About Me
Hello and welcome to Tobacco Tales! A site created to not only post cigar reviews, but for any other tobacco related reviews/information such as pipe tobacco, pipes, humidors, cutters, lighters, etc. My name is Greg and hail from the Sandhills of South Carolina in a very small town where I was born and raised. I have a beautiful wife that I adore, a baby girl that is my life, a teenage son, a Jack Russell Terrier, and of course a cat (he stays outside). I've been a smoker most of my life, however only seriously got into cigars a few years ago. I had started experimenting with different single malt scotches and decided to try out a cigar to see how it paired, and paired well it did. So much so that I went down the slippery slope quick, fast, and in a hurry. My tastes started out with mild domestics, however quickly escalated into "other" brands that were more mild to medium, and today I'm enjoying cigars of all marcas/vitolas that are more medium to full.
I am a member of many cigar sites out there and have many friends throughout the cigar community, which although large, is very close knit where B/SOTL (Brothers/Sisters Of The Leaf) look out for each other. We are a very friendly and extremely generous bunch of souls, and it is a community that I'm proud to be a part of.
Please join up and feel free to post your favorite review or simply give information pertaining to anything tobacco related. Or, just sit back and peruse through the information already here. I would ask though, that you keep it somewhat clean with no extremely vulgar language and/or pictures.
